NIRCO on WGN News: National Rally Hub in Chicago on Sept. 21st

As September marks National Recovery Month, Illinois is set to witness a landmark event that brings together communities, advocates, and individuals in recovery. Two trailblazing women-led organizations, NIRCO and CRCC, have teamed up to host the first-ever National Rally for Recovery in our state. This historic event will take place on Saturday, September 21st, from 9 AM to 4 PM at the UIC Credit Union 1 Arena, located at 525 S. Racine Ave in Chicago.

The rally aims to celebrate the strength and resilience of those in recovery while raising awareness about the critical need for support and resources for individuals and families affected by substance use disorders. With a full day of inspiring speakers, community resources, and opportunities to connect with others, this event promises to be a powerful testament to the collective effort needed to foster recovery and healing.

This morning, John Wright and Dr. Mary Roberson shared the exciting details of the rally on WGN Morning News, highlighting the importance of coming together as a community to support recovery journeys.

Whether you're in recovery, supporting a loved one, or simply want to stand in solidarity, this event is for you. Let’s make history together and show the nation that Illinois is leading the way in the recovery movement.

Mark your calendars, spread the word, and join us for an unforgettable day of hope, healing, and community! 💜
